2015 Woodstock Slammers Hockey Team Events

Lots of fun things are in the works in Woodstock during this year's Woodstock Slammers hockey season!

The Woodstock Slammers have a new head coach this year. Please welcome Fabian Joseph! We had a chance to chat with Fabian earlier. Here's what he had to say!

The Slammers are hosting the Amherst Ramblers this Friday, September 25th at 7:30 p.m. at the Ayr Motor Centre in Woodstock and the boys travel to Amherst on Saturday to face them on their ice. Friday night they are going to welcome the new Jr. Slammers on the ice 1st intermission, and have chuck a puck 2nd intermission. Come join the fun!

Meanwhile, the working group has organized the 1st Annual Soft Ball Tournament taking place on the Barney Wright and Jeff Clarke fields, games will be played on both Saturday and Sunday. The Slammers team is made up of billets, volunteers, and the Slammers working group! They welcome people to come out and cheer on the teams. I had a chance to chat with Brittany Toner about these events and more. Here's what she had to say.

They will be hosting a Funny Fundraiser event on October 24th at the Best Western. Tickets are $25 and they will have some awesome silent and live auction items as well as top Canadian Comedian Mike MacDonald to entertain you as well.
