A Remembrance Day will be held in Houlton in memory and honor of Prisoners of War, those Missing in Action and those were were Killed in Action. The event will be held at Houlton's Monument Park on Sunday, September 14th, 2014.

The United Vets Motorcycle Club will be hosting the event so that all will know that "You are Not Forgotten."


The public is encouraged to join the UMVC on this special day to show your support for our troops who fought for us in the past and are fighting for us now.

The club will have a flag parade which will start at the Irving Big Stop in Houlton on Sunday morning. Kickstands will go up at 11:45 a.m. sharp. All are welcome to join in the parade.

Flag bearers will lead the group through town and on to Monument Park for the 12 p.m. start of the ceremony. Parking spaces will be available.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
