Nova Scotia kayaker Trevor MacLean has won the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race 10 times and he is ready to try to make it 11.

The 49th Kenduskeag race is Saturday morning at 8:30am. The race got pushed back from last Saturday because of ice conditions on the stream. But everything is a go now and high water could produce some record times.

MacLean is a world class paddler in his racing kayak. He has won the last six Kenduskeag overall titles. A win on Saturday would leave him one win away from Robert Lang's record of 11 solo wins. Both MacLean and Lang have one other win racing with partners in two-man kayaks.

The special time to watch is 1:50:08. Lang(New Brunswick) set that mark in 1997 as the fastest time ever.

NOTE:  Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com will be live at the Kenduskeag startline with a special show starting at 8am Saturday morning.
