Friday, May 30

The Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile & ATV Club is holding their annual Fiddlehead Supper Friday evening.  The menu includes fiddlehead appetizers, pork loin, potatoes and gravy, fiddleheads, rolls, cranberry sauce and homemade desserts. Settings at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.. Tickets are $10 each and must be purchased in advance.  Call Audrey at 764-1769.

Saturday, May 31

The Aroostook County Chapter of Maine HOG will host a Benefit Breakfast & Ride for “House of Comfort” on Saturday.  Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. at Caribou American Legion Post #15. The cost is 6 dollars per person. The ride is set to leave at 11 a.m.

Eagle Lake Elementary School PTA invites you to a fund-raising Flea Market on Saturday from 9 to 3.  It includes a bake sale and a bouncy house for the kids. Donations of items are being accepted prior to event.

Join the Presque Isle Historical Society, Presque Isle Middle School, Turner Memorial Library and NMCC to celebrate the culmination of a year-long Civil War grant Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Edmunds Library at Northern Maine Community College.  See genuine Civil War artifacts from the Society’s collections, observe a Civil War encampment, and see the unveiling of Presque Isle’s online Civil War exhibit. Light refreshments will be served.

The Francis Malcolm Institute in Easton will hold an Open House on Saturday from Noon to 3.  Activities at the Science Center will include: hands-on science activities, scavenger hunt, model rocket launch, planetarium show "Voyager Encounters" and ocean touch tank experience.  Light refreshments will be served.

Wintergreen Arts Center in Presque Isle will hold a Watercolor Workshop, instructed by local artist, Jessalyn Joy Levesque.  The course will take place on Saturday from 2 to 5pm. Cost is $40, and all materials will be included.  Pre-registration is strongly recommended, as spaces are limited!  To register, call Wintergreen Arts Center at 762-3576, message them on Facebook, or email  WintergreenArts@gmail.com

Parents and staff at the New Sweden School are raising money for new playground equipment. There will be a Roast Beef Supper fundraiser followed by a school/community talent show on Saturday. The supper will begin at 5 pm and includes: roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots & peas, oatmeal rolls, and date squares. The cost is $10 (by donation for children under 12). The talent show will start at 6:30 and admission to the show is free.

 Sunday, June 1

The Sunday Saunter Running Group meets Sundays at 10 a.m. at UMPI's Gentile Hall. It's open to all abilities. Be ready for an easy run of 30-45 minutes and bring your friends. For more details, email Jonathan Kelley at  info@triaroostook.com

Stop by "Took A Leap Farm" in Houlton on Sunday between 10 and 4 for a celebration of spring, goats, and rural living!  They will be opening the doors of their small goat dairy and creamery so you can meet their adorable baby goats, listen to some awesome folk music, see craftspeople in action.  Free admission, although donations will be accepted for Ark Animal Sanctuary!

Dancing Like a Star at Caribou Performing Arts Center starts at 6:30 Sunday evening. Admission is $5.00 and it's a dollar a vote! Come support your favorite act!
