Earlier today the Houlton Police Department responded to a burglar alarm at the Cary Library.

In the meantime, 2 other Houlton businesses reported break-ins. They were Bates Fuel and the Aroostook Print Shop.

With the help of a K9, the Houlton Police located 34-year-old Craig Miller a short time later in one of the basement of Bates Fuel. He was taken into custody and is waiting for his arraignment, which could take place as early as Monday.

Police say the suspect is is originally from Houlton, but has been residing in Westbrook.

The Houlton Police Department was assisted by the State Police K9 unit and the US border patrol.
